Taylor Edwards -
Illustrator & Character Concept Creator
Taylor provided the original character concept ideas that first brought Wazzle to life when author Tess Edwards wrote her first Wazzle book. Having conceptualised Wazzle as a teenager, her initial creative vision is celebrated for establishing the warmth, humour, and gentle personality that shaped him into an unforgettable character.
Alongside her creative concepts, Taylor is a dedicated educator with a diverse academic background. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University, a Master of Teaching from ACU, and is currently finalising her Honours in Psychology at Monash University. This rich blend of scientific insight, education, and human understanding brings a unique emotional texture and depth to the series' foundation.
As the daughter of author Tess Edwards, Taylor shares a close, collaborative working relationship with her mother. Together, their shared devotion to storytelling ensures Wazzle continues to resonate deeply with readers,
Eva Hrysoudis -
Creative Designer
Eva is a creative designer dedicated to transforming imaginative dreams into vibrant realities through children's literature and playful design. Driven by a heart full of wonder, she draws inspiration from global travels, new landscapes, and the hidden beauty of everyday adventures. Her infectious laughter and passion for making memories bring a distinct warmth, joy, and energy to every project she touches.
Collaborating closely with Tess and Veronica, Eva plays a vital role in bringing each narrative to life. She expertly weaves the stories together using the enchanting characters illustrated by Taylor and Angelica.
Together, this creative team builds whimsical, colour-filled worlds of wonder and adventure—inspiring young readers to dream big, explore endlessly, and laugh as often as they can.
Veronica Edwards -
Editor
Veronica is the dynamic editor behind the Wazzle the Wombat series and a passionate storyteller with a deep love for adventure. Beyond shaping children's literature, Veronica is a versatile writer currently developing both a historical fiction novel and a hilarious anthology of imaginative stories. Her writing is known for bursting with humour, heart, and unforgettable characters.
Veronica’s sharp wit is her creative superpower. It shines through her own writing and serves as a vital tool during the editing process. She possesses a natural gift for uncovering comedic beats, sharpening playful dialogue, and drawing out the warmth and charm that keep young readers hooked from the very first page.
Known for her boundary-pushing creativity, Veronica doesn’t just think outside the box—she forgets the box exists entirely. A global traveller at heart, she aims to journey across the world to support others, learn from diverse cultures, and gather new tales along the way, all while keeping her eyes fixed on the home her heart was made for.

Illustrator
AvartFeb Studio is the creative culmination of a lifelong passion for storytelling, founded by illustrator and multi-disciplinary designer Angelica Valdez Agulto.
Based in Agoo, La Union Philippines, Angelica bridges the gap between technical precision and artistic imagination. With a strong foundation in Computer Science, she masterfully blends traditional techniques with modern digital artistry to create visuals that are as intelligent as they are enchanting.
Her work is characterized by a warm, magical aesthetic that celebrates the heart of family connections. More than just an illustrator, Angelica is a communicator; she transforms concepts into meaningful narratives that resonate deeply with her audience, brings stories to life with warmth, whimsy, and heart.
